Challenge

Before developing this platform, our company relied on separate tools like Toggl for time tracking and spreadsheets for payroll and client management. This created inefficiencies, with data scattered across multiple systems, requiring manual data entry and reconciliation. It was difficult to track employee work hours, generate accurate payroll, and manage the sales pipeline in one place, leading to wasted time and a higher chance of errors.

Solution

To resolve this, we built a custom all-in-one platform tailored to our business needs. By integrating time tracking, payroll automation, and a sales pipeline in a single dashboard, we eliminated the need for external tools. The platform allows employees to log their hours directly, which automatically feeds into payroll calculations, simplifying salary processing and invoicing. Additionally, the client and project management features provide a seamless workflow for tracking deals, sending quotes, and following up on leads—ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.

How we built it

The frontend is built with Svelte, offering a lightweight and reactive user experience with minimal overhead. On the backend, we use Symfony with API Platform, providing a structured and scalable API that integrates time tracking, payroll, and client management efficiently. MySQL handles all relational data, ensuring secure storage and quick retrieval of work hours, payroll records, and client details. The result is a centralized, high-performance system that simplifies internal operations, improves data accuracy, and enhances workflow automation.
